We are so excited to welcome our newest RAGE member Alyssa!!!

 

 

We are performing at Chocolate Fest Saturday May 29th from 6-6:30pm at the Wanasek Stage (same as last year). We will meet over in that area by 5pm so we can warm up and stretch. They will be in full uniform, and makeup. They should bring along the purple camp wear shirt with the black shorts in case we get there and its raining or muddy out. They should wear the shoes from last year.

 

We will be doing the parade Monday May 31st. It begins at 9am and will be done by 10:15am. We are number 31. We will meet at the CATHE center by 7:30am, and need to be at check in by 7:45am. They should wear the purple camp shirt with black shorts, hair competition style with the bow. You can pick up your cheerleader by Adrians at the end of the parade, or we will walk back to the CATHE center.

February 28th Competition Information

 

We will be meeting at the gym this Sunday February 28th 2010 by 9:30am. Please arrive with your cheerleader dressed and ready to go. We will leave no later than 10am. The competition is being held at Sun Prairie High School ( 220 Kroncke Drive Sun Prairie WI 53590). Videotaping of your team is allowed. Spectator admission is $5.00 per adult, $3.00 per student and children under 5 are free. We are very tentatively scheduled to warm up at 2:10pm, and we compete at 2:45pm. Awards are at 3:30pm. I have posted a schedule at the gym for you to see. Please let me know if you have any questions!! ROCK on RAGE!!

 

 

 

 

February 5th Competition Information

We will be meeting this Saturday February 5th at the gym by 12:00pm. We will leave no later than 12:30pm. Please have your cheerleader arrive dressed and ready to go. If they need help with hair and/or makeup please arrive by 11:30am. The competition is being held at the Veteran's Memorial Coliseum (1919 Alliant Energy Center Way Madison WI 53713). We are scheduled to perform at 4:45 pm (with warm up before that). Awards are scheduled for 6:15pm. The cost of admission is $10, and the cost of parking is $5.50. I have hung an order of competition in the gym for you to see. Please let me know if there are any questions.

 

February 6th Competition Information

We will be meeting on Sunday Feb 6th at the coliseum by 12:30pm. Your cheerleader should arrive dressed and ready to go. There will be a little time to help with hair and/or makeup if needed. The competition is at the same location as Saturday, and the cost of admission and parking is the same. We are scheduled to perform at 3:!5pm ( with warm up before that). Awards are scheduled for 4:45pm. Again there is an order of competition posted at the gym. Please let me know of any questions!!

 

 

 

January 31st Competition Information

 

We will be meeting this Sunday Jan 31st at the gym by 11am. We will leave no later than 1130am. Please have your cheerleader arrive on time, dressed and ready to go. If you need help with hair or makeup you will need to arrive prior to 11am.We are currently scheduled to perform at 215pm, with warm up before that. Awards are currently scheduled for 310pm.  The competition is being held at the Wisconsin Expo Center ( 8200 W. Greenfield Ave West Allis WI 53214). It will be in Exhibit Hall C. Since this is a one day Nationals there is an admission price of $10. If you park in the lot at the grounds the cost is $5. Please note video and photos can be taken from your seats only!!! They will have dvds for sale that day. I have posted a line up in the gym. If there are any questions let me know!!

January 10th Competition Information

 

We will be meeting this Sunday January 10th at the gym by 8:00am. We will leave by 8:30am. Please arrive fully dressed and ready to go. If you need hair or make up done you will need to arrive earlier than 8:00am. The competition is being held at Hamilton High School (W220N6151 Town Line Road Sussex WI 53089). We are set to perform at 11:06am, with warm up before that. Awards are set for 12:25pm.There is an admission fee of $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for children. Usually they also have t-shirts and DVDs to purchase at the competition. There is a tentative line up posted in the gym for you to see. If you have any questions please let me know!!

 

 

 

Burlington Christmas Parade

 

The parade is this Friday December 5th at 6:30pm. We will be meeting at our line up spot (near

Kane/Chandler St
intersection on left side) by 6pm. The vehicle needs to be to the spot by 5:30pm. We are number 41 in the parade. After the parade we will go back to the gym for hot chocolate. The girls should wear RAGE colors, but dress warm!! We will be walking and handing out flyers and candy. If you have any questions please let me know!!

RAGE December Bits and Pieces

 

Don’t forget the Burlington Christmas Parade is this Friday December 4th. I have not gotten specific details as of yet, but will know for sure by Thursday. We will most likely be meeting by 6pm at our line up site. The girls should wear any (warm) RAGE colors!! We will walk and hand out candy and cheer class flyers. We will then end back at the gym for hot chocolate and that is where you can pick up your cheerleader!! I have only heard from a handful of people weather or not your cheerleader will attend. Please let me know ASAP.

 

I spoke with the uniform company last week. The new tops are being shipped out from their office on December 2nd, so we will have them very shortly!!

 

Please note there was a date change for one of our competitions. The Cardinal Classic was suppose to be held in March, but now has changed to FEBRURAY 28th. Don’t forget to mark that change on your competition schedule calendars!!

 

The RAGE cheerleader Christmas party will be held on Tuesday Dec 22nd. We will NOT have open tumbling practice that night. The party will go from 6-8:30pm. Dinner will be served to the girls. If you would like to volunteer to supply a dish, or treat for the party please let me know. We will also be exchanging names for their Secret Santa next Tuesday. If for any reason you would not like you r cheerleader to participate please let me know by this Thursday Dec 3rd!!

 

Please don’t forget to promote our upcoming Cheer Class which starts next Thursday Dec 10th.  Tell everyone you know!! As always thanks and ROCK on RAGE!!!

 

 

SPIRIT DAY- November 24th- Theme is GENDER BENDER!!!

 

 

 

    This Thursday Nov. 19th there is NO OPEN TUMBLING. We will have regular cheer practice from 6-8:30pm though. Also the gym is closed Dec 24th for Christmas Eve, Dec 29th, and Dec 31st!!!!

    We will be doing the Burlington Christmas parade Friday Dec 4th. Please let me know ASAP if your cheerleader can or cannot do the parade with us!! Does anyone have float ideas? The theme is Christmas Carol-- otherwise we will walk it as always..

    We will be trying to have a cheer class on Tuesdays from 4-5pm starting Dec 10th- Jan 26th ( no class Dec 29th).

November 15th Competition Information

 

We will be meeting this Sunday November 15th at the gym by 8:00am. We will leave by 8:30am. Please arrive fully dressed and ready to go. November 8th Competition Information

 

We will be meeting this Sunday November 8th at the gym by 9:30am. We will leave no later than 10:15am.Please make sure you arrive a little earlier if you need help with your cheerleader’s hair or make up. The competition is being held at the Washington County Fair grounds (

3000 Pleasant Valley Road West Bend WI 53095
). When you arrive at the fair grounds the competition is held in the building marked Pavilion. We are set to perform at 1:45pm (with warm up before that). Awards are set for 2:55pm. The admission fee is $5.00 per person. Photos and video are allowed from your seats only!! There will also be DVDs available to purchase at the competition. There is an order of competition posted in the gym for you to see. If you have any questions please let me know!!

 

 

RAGE Cheerleader Halloween Party

 

We will be having our RAGE cheerleader Halloween Party on Thursday October 29th. It is also our October SPIRIT Day and the theme is Halloween!! We will have open tumbling during the regular time 5-6pm. The party will be during part of normal practice hours 6-8:30pm. Please have the girls bring some kind of snack. Preferably not too many candy/treats. I will have a list so that we don’t all bring the same thing. If you have any questions please let me know.

 

 

October 18th Competition Information

 

We will be meeting this Sunday October 18th at the gym by 8:30am. Please arrive ON TIME, dressed and ready to go- if you need to get your cheerleader’s hair or makeup done please arrive a little earlier than 8:30am. We will be leaving the gym no later than 9:15am. The competition is being held at Harper College (

1200 W. Algonquin Road Palatine IL 60067
). We are set to perform at 12:44pm (with warm up before that). Awards are set for 1:12pm. You are able to take photos or video from your seat only!! DVDs will be available to purchase. The spectator admission is $5.00. I have posted an order of competition in the gym for you to see. If you have any questions please let me know!!

 

 

October 4th Competition Information

 

We will be meeting this Sunday October 4th at the gym by 9:15am. We will leave the gym no later than 10:00am. The competition is being held at Bartlett High School (

701 Schick Road, Bartlett IL 60103
). Please have cheerleaders arrive at the gym dressed and ready to go. If you need help with makeup (or hair) bring it along and we can do it before we leave. We are set to perform at 1:34 pm. With warm-up before that. Awards are at 2:27pm. Please note that these times vary slightly that day!!! The admission to the event is $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for students. Photos are allowed, but please note NO VIDEOS ARE ALLOWED!!!!!!!! The girls will all each receive a free DVD copy of the performance. This competition is awarding extra prizes for the craziest/wildest fans- called the Champion Crazies. They also award a sportsmanship award to the team with the best overall sportsmanship!! I cannot post an order of competition in the gym as they don’t have a printable version available online. If there are any questions let me know!! ROCK ON RAGE!!

 
 
September 27th Competition Information
 
Can you all believe its already here? Our first competition has arrived!! I know the girls are so excited and they have been working so hard this summer!!! We will be meeting at the gym this Sunday September 27thby9:30 am. Cheerleaders should arrive fully dressed and ready to go. Hair should be straightened and back in a high ponytail (with a poof in front). We will leave the gym no later than 10:15am. I gave a little extra time  for us to meet before we leave since it is the first competition of the season. The competition is being held at Elgin Community College (1700 Spartan Dr Elgin IL 60123) in the Spartan Events Center. Cheerleaders wont have too much time once we get there before we go back for warm up. We are set to compete at 2:20pm(warm up at 1:20pm, but we will go back at 1pm). Awards are set for 2:30pm. The spectator fee is $5.00. There will be DVDs available to purchase. Please note that photos and videos can be taken form you SEAT ONLY!!! We can be disqualified if you do not follow this!!!! I am not willing to take that risk just for a photo. If you have any questions please let me know. There is an order of competition listed in the gym!! Just a quick thank you to you parents for you r support of RAGE and these amazing and talented girls, without you this wouldn't be possible.RAGE parents ROCK!!!!
 
 
 
Our next SPIRIT Day is September 17th- the theme  is Nerd Day!!!
 
We will be having an optional team bonding get together to watch the new Bring It On movie this Saturday September 12th at Ryan's house  at 6-9pm. Snacks and soda will be provided. Please let me know if your cheerleader will be attending!!!
 

Muskego Parade Information

 

The parade is next Sunday August 30th. Please let me know by Tuesday if your cheerleader will be participating in it!!! We could also use some parent volunteers to walk to route with us and hand things out. Is there anyone that can drive their vehicle in the parade? We will be meeting at the end of the parade route and will be shuttled over to the start of the parade. We will meet by 10am at the corner of

Saturn Drive
and
Racine Ave
in Muskego (same as last year). The parade begins at 11:00 am and we are number 62. The girls should wear their purple camp wear outfit. We should have our hair bows by that day so they would wear them. Don’t forget sun block and water!!!! If there are any questions let me know!!

 

RAGE Family Picnic

 

Our third annual RAGE family picnic will be on Sunday August 30th at 2pm-??. We will be having it at Fisher Park by Brown’s Lake in Burlington. There is a $1.00 fee for all people over 6 years old. Also please note that the park rules state no alcohol is allowed. I will be providing beverages, plates, silverware, condiments etc. I ask that you bring your own meat to grill, and a dish to pass. I have a list posted in the gym so we don’t get overlapping of the dishes. Please RSVP by Tuesday at the latest so I can get everything in order. This is open to all cheerleaders and their families. If anyone has an extra grill they can bring, or yard games please let me know. This is a nice time to get together and get to know all of the families as the hectic competition season is approaching quickly. I hope to see everyone there!!!!

 

Extra Information

 

I am almost done setting things up with the new makeup company. Hopefully by next week they will have a link set up on their website for RAGE where you would go on and purchase your make up kit. Once they post it they will give you a certain amount of days you will need to order within before they remove the link. It ships out with in a couple days. As soon as it is complete I will get all the information to you!!

 

I will be putting together a RAGE wear order by next Thursday for those of you who would like to order items. I am very excited to have so cool new items this year! I will also hold another order in November before Christmas time!!!

 

SPIRIT Day

 

Our next SPIRIT Day will be next Thursday August 27th. The theme is COLOR DAY!!

 Each girl will draw a color and will deck themselves out in that color for the day!!! Show that RAGE Spirit!!

Waterford 4th of July Parade Information

 

The parade begins this Saturday July 4th at 11am. We will meet at my house  at 9:00am. We will then walk down to get lined up. Just a reminder that the line up part can get to be a long wait so please have your cheerleader bring something to drink/snack on while waiting. Also don’t forget sun block!! Have the cheerleaders wear any Red, White, and Blue they have!! I have only heard from a couple people if they can do the parade or not. We still need cheerleaders and parents to walk with!! Please let me know ASAP if your cheerleader can or cannot participate!!

 
 
The Waterford 4th of July Parade is quickly approaching. I will have detailed information for you next week regarding meeting times, etc. Please let me know by Thursday if your cheerleader will or will not be participating.

Chocolate Fest Performance Information

We will be meeting this Saturday May 23rd at 4pm by the Wanasek Stage. We will find an area there to stretch/warm-up before we perform. The performance is from 4:45-5:15pm. Tickets for your cheerleader to get into the grounds are in your mailboxes as well. Haley is making everyone shirts-please make sure to give her one. Hair should be up in a pony. They should wear their hair bow from last year- or a purple one. Black, white, or purple shorts are fine. Have them bring their new cheer shoes- they will be on the stage so they shouldn’t get too dirty. After they finish they are free to go with you!! Any questions please let me know.

 

Chocolate Fest/ Memorial Day Parade Information

We will be meeting this Monday May 25th at the CATHE Center by 8:00am. We will then walk down to our line up position. The parade starts at 9:00am. After it is finished we will walk back to the CATHE Center where you can pick your cheerleader up. Please be there by no later than 10am to get them!! We are number 31 in the parade. The parade route starts On S. Kane Street and ends at Echo Park. You can also grab your cheerleader from us by Adrian’s when we finish- just please let me know ahead of time if you plan on doing that. The girls should wear RAGE colors (purple, silver, white) and have their hair up in a pony. Old shoes can be worn. I am in need of some parents to walk to route with me and hand out candy. Let me know if you are available to do so!! The girls should bring a water bottle or something to drink. If there are any questions let me know!!

~The shoe fitting is this Thursday at 6pm. Parents are welcome to come and make sure their cheerleader gets the right size!! If your cheerleader is unable to be here please let me know their size and I can grab some shoes for them!!

 

~ Don’t forget the RAGE Bowl-a-thon Fundraiser is this Sunday May 17th from 1-3:30pm at River City Lanes in Waterford! Get lots of pledges!!!!

 

~The hours available for the Chocolate Fest Gate Fundraiser are Sunday from 5-10pm. Please let me know ASAP if you would like to do some before they fill up. It will be first come first serve for sign up!!

~ If anyone still has the Blue Devils shorts and shirt please turn them in on Tuesday March 31st.

 

~ Don't forget our final practice for this season will be this Tuesday March 31st at River City Lanes in Waterford. We will meet there at 6pm. There will be no open tumbling that day. The cost is $2.00 per game (this includes shoes).

 

~I have put a final 2008-2009 invoice in your mailboxes. Please make sure all accounts are current.

 

~2009-2010 Auditions will be Friday May 1st from 5-6:30 /Tuesday May 3rd from 6-7:30pm. There is a copy of the 2009-2010 RAGE handbook in your mailboxes as well. There are several fundraisers already in place for next year. Don't forget about the recruitment incentives!! I have recently updated the website-check it out!!

 

~ Watch in the next couple of weeks for an article in the Standard Press/ Waterford Post as the girls will be featured. If anyone has a good photo of the girls please email me a copy!! I also need some current photos for the website if anyone has any!

 

~Please make sure that the girls clean out there cubbies/mailboxes tonight. I will go through the lost and found items with them tonight. I put their lipsticks in your mailboxes on Tuesday-please keep them in a safe spot for next year.

Saturday February 28th Competition Information

 

We will be meeting at the gym this Saturday February 28th by 11:00am. We will be leaving by 11:30am. Please have your cheerleader dressed and ready to go. If you are staying in Madison on Friday night you will need to be to the competition by 1:15pm- dressed and ready to go. We are tentatively scheduled to perform at 3:40pm (with warm up starting before that). Awards are tentatively scheduled for 5:30pm. The competition is being held at the Alliant Energy Center Coliseum (

1919 Alliant Energy Center Way Madison 53713
).Please note that it is in the coliseum not the same building as the last time we were in Madison.  There is a $5.00 per vehicle parking fee. Admission to the event is $10.00 (children 5 and under are free) cash only. The line up is posted in the gym for you to see. I have room in my car for anyone who would like to ride up with me on Saturday- though I am not staying the night in Madison.

 

 

Sunday March 1st Competition Information

 

We will be meeting in Madison at the competition on Sunday March 1st by no later than 9:00am. Please have your cheerleader arrive fully dressed and ready to go. If anyone would like to ride up with or meet me on Sunday please let me know. We are tentatively scheduled to perform at 11:16am (with warm up starting before that). Awards are tentatively scheduled for 1:15pm. The competition is also being held at the coliseum in Madison. There is a $5.00 per vehicle parking fee. Admission to the event is $10.00 (children 5 and under are free) cash only. The line up is posted in the gym for you to see.

 

 

I am still missing a handful of waivers for both Saturday and Sunday. It is the same form but you need to fill out one for both days. Please turn them in by Tuesday.

 

Please note there are different times for Saturday than Sunday.

 

 

 
Team Bonding
We will be having a team bonding night/ dinner at my house this Monday February 23rd from 5:30pm- 8:00pm. This event is not mandatory. We will be having pizza and snacks. We will also just be hanging out as a team and spending some stress free time together as they have been working really hard at practice the last couple of weeks- I think it will be good to spend some fun time together. Please have your cheerleader bring a couple of dollars to go towards the pizza- I will provide the rest. Please let me know if your cheerleader can attend by Sunday if possible- so I can get enough stuff.
Also- a couple of the girls have started to mention that they may be traveling up to Madison on Friday night next week- please let me know if you are planning on doing this so I can prepare correct meeting times at the gym on Sat and at the event on Sat once I get the information. I am still planing to meet Sat. morning for those not going up Fri night, but will plan to meet in Madison on Sunday.
 
February Spirit Day

 

The next spirit day is this Thursday February 12th. It is a Valentine’s theme. Please have your cheerleader wear red, white, pink, or any Valentine’s attire. If your cheerleader would like to bring a treat that is fine. We will not be taking practice time out for a “party” but the last 15 minutes will hand them out. Thanks!!!

They have moved up the start time of the competition for this weekend. We will now be meeting at the gym by 10:30am. Leaving by 11:00am. We are now tentatively scheduled to perform at 2:36pm and awards are tentatively scheduled for 2:48pm.

 
 
 

Sunday February 1st Competition Information

 

We will be meeting at the gym this Sunday February 1st by 12:00pm. Please have your cheerleader arriver dressed and ready to go as there will be no time or space to get them ready when we arrive at the competition. We will be leaving promptly by 12:30pm and will need to head right to the competition. Also make sure the hair pieces are very secure!! The competition is being held at Harper College (

1200 W Algonquin Road Palatine IL 60067
- the same place as our very first competition this year). We are tentatively scheduled to perform at 3:36pm (with warm up starting at 2:51pm- the team will go back to start it by 2:30pm). The times are very tentative and will most likely change.  Awards are tentatively scheduled for 3:48pm. There is no admission fee, and videotaping is allowed from SEATS ONLY. DVDs will be available for purchase.  This is a Mardi gras theme event- parents get ready to bring your spirit to get the girls fired up!!! The tentative line up is posted in the gym for you to see. Let's get ready to rock that floor.

 

 

 

The next Spirit Day is this Thursday January 22nd- the theme is Beach/ Hawaiian Day

 

There will be practice today- January 15th- normal practice times!!!!

 

Sunday January 11th Competition Information

 

We will be meeting at the CATHE Center that morning by7:30 am. We will be leaving by 8:00am. Please have your cheerleader arrive dressed and ready to go. Also please make sure that their hair piece is very secure. The past couple of competitions we have had loose any falling out hairpieces while back in the warm up area.  If you need help with it please let me know. The competition is being held at Hamilton High School (

Sussex WI  53089). We are currently scheduled to perform at 10:16 am (with warm-ups at 9:46 am). Awards are currently scheduled for 11:05 am. There is an admission charge for this event (Adults- $5, Children- $3). The line up is posted in the gym .If you have not already turned in your cheerleader’s waiver please do so by Thursday. If anyone is interested my Waterford High School team will be competing there that afternoon at 2:04pm. If anyone has any questions please let me know!!
