RAGE is not only a cheer squad, but a second family to me. I joined seven years ago, not knowing much about it, and fell in love with it the moment I stepped in the door. The coaches have always been welcoming, and more than willing to help everyone and anyone who came into the program. Ryan has played a very important role in my life. Not only does she coach, helping me with new skills, she also welcomes me into her home and has opened up her family life to each one of us cheerleaders. Unlike other All Star teams, RAGE does not require you to have any skills before joining, as each individual skill is taught at practice. Our team possesses a wide range of skill levels, never discriminating against any one individual. Everyone is accepted, as we are one big family. RAGE also offers numerous team bonding activities throughout the season, which is one of the main reasons we are so close. RAGE has taught me so much, from learning how to do a back handspring, to learning how to be a more confident young woman. RAGE is my life and without it, I'd be lost. It has definitely been an opportunity of a lifetime, and I'll be sad to see it end next season. ROCK ON RAGE!

RAGE All Star Cheer is more than just a cheer squad. I can't say enough good things about RAGE, the coach, the cheerleaders and their families. When my daughter Nicki joined the team, she only knew how to do a cartwheel. She had no cheer experience, no dance experience and little tumbling experience. In the past 3 years she has gone from that cartwheel to standing back-handsprings to roundoff triple back-handsprings (just to name a few) and is working on a new tumbling pass for this year. Along with the obvious skills taught at Rage, the kids also learn sportsmanship, how important it is to work as a team, to never say 'I can't' and most importantly they learn to be proud of themselves, their accomplishments and their team! RAGE All-Star Cheer has been a fantastic experience for our entire family. We joined shortly after moving to Burlington as an activity to help our oldest daughter transition. She has made wonderful friends, gained self-esteem and has learned that hard work pays off. It's also great for her physical health and abilities. When she joined she couldn't do a cartwheel. Now, she's working on a back-handspring! Our extended family enjoys going to competitions...it's so exciting to see how all the girl's skills improve over the course of one season. We've all made such good friends with the other families; they are supportive of not just the other cheerleaders but their families, too. And, we just can't say enough about Coach Ryan. She's fantastic with all the girls. She motivates them and has just as much pride for a girl learning to do a backbend as she does for a girl getting a complicated tumbling move.
